KH-EZ Pullout Capacity

Why does the Pullout capacity check for the 3/8" dia x 2.5 KH-EZ say "NA"?

Hi Chemelle,

In your case, the pull out strength doesn't govern the design. It is omitted from the calculations, since it won't be the failure method.

Dani

I guess I don't understand the decision to simply say NA in lieu of providing the actual capacity. Many limit state capacities are listed that don't govern the design.

Hi Chemelle,

It's hard to determine without seeing the PROFIS Engineering file. It could be that there is actually no concrete breakout happening. Please check your file to see if the utilization is zero.

Dani

Hi Dani - I did provide the profis file. Concrete breakout is at 55%, steel strength is 10% and pullout is listed as NA.
