KB-TZ2 installed on top of concrete-filled composite deck
Table 6 of ICC ESR-1917 for KB-TZ provides the minimum required concrete thickness above flute for 3/8" diameter and 1/2" diameter anchors. Such table is missing in ICC ESR-4266 for KB-TZ2. Does that mean we could no longer install any 1/2" diameter KB-TZ2 to the top of composite deck with 3 1/4" of concrete above flute since the minimum concrete thickness required in Table 3 of ICC ESR-4266 is at least 3 1/2" for a 1/2" diameter KB-TZ2?

Hi Jason,
Table 9 in ESR-4266 contains information regarding the minimum concrete thickness above the upper flute for a ¼”, 3/8”, and ½” KB-TZ2. See attached image for reference. Depending upon the embedment depth, the minimum concrete thickness for a ½” diameter KB-TZ2 is 2-1/2” or 3-1/4”.

I see. The ESR-4266 report I have obtained from the first search result from Google linked to an outdated report from hilti.com that was issued on December 2020,has only 15 pages and does not contain Table 9. Thanks for pointing to the updated report.
