Is there a maximum concrete strength for installation of X-U and/or X-P PAFs?
Capacity values stop at 6,000 and 8,000 respectively which seems to imply concrete strength maximums, but also indicates testing has not been performed in concrete strength beyond those values. Concrete design strength is typically specified to be within the capacity limits of the PAF, however 28-day compressive strength test results of new concrete can and have exceeded 9,000 psi.

Hi George,
Thank you for reaching out. The published test data with the respective concrete strengths is not a maximum, but is the minimum concrete compressive strength at the time of fastener installation. This is defined in Section 3.2.1 of ESR-2269 which covers both the X-U and X-P fasteners.
