Is mineral wool only needed or does using an intermentant sealant also required?

From the attached picture file, is having only mineral wool applied acceptable? Or does FS1 Max need to be applied also? The location is in an open parking garage.

Hello for firestop systems yes the sealant would be required. I have attached a UL listed system that may work for your application with the bottom side install. It would require FS-ONE MAX and depending on your annular space, mineral wool.
