We are working with a contractor where the anchor rods were placed such that they don't align with the base plate of a light pole. We are looking to specify HY200 with HAS rods. It will be an exterior, exposed location with dynamic loading. Is that an acceptable use, or is there a different product preferred for such an application.

The HIT-HY 200 V3 is able to be installed in an exterior application. The important thing to keep in mind is the type of steel that you are going to specify for the HAS threaded rod. In exterior application, a stainless steel threaded rod is typically selected. For more information on corrosion, please refer to Hilti's Corrosion Handbook.
