How to fix a KB-TZ2 anchor that won't hold the required torque?
Base plate with (8) anchor bolts, but only one (1) won't hold torque. Can this anchor be replaced with an epoxy anchor?

Hi Sean,
The Hilti Kwik Bolt TZ2 Wedge anchors are required to be installed at listed torque per the installation instructions. If an KB TZ2 anchor is incorrectly installed, typically the anchor has to be removed. The removal process is typically core drilling out the anchor; this process would be at the discretion of the Engineer of Record. If the anchor is to remain or to be replaced by an adhesive anchor, it would be an engineering judgment by the EOR, and on-site testing would be recommended to confirm anchor capacity.
