How much working clearance is needed?
I am trying to use 1 Hilti HAS Carbon steel threaded rod with Hilti HIT-RE 500-SD with 10.5" embedment.
How much room is needed for the drill machine?
Is it feasible in a tight space, about 2 feet with special drill equipment?

Hi PJ,
The amount of room needed to drill a hole depends on the hole size required. For holes up to 5/8" in diameter, there are tools with angle adaptors that can accomplish this easily. For larger holes up to 1" in diameter, you may be able to use small rotary hammer drill, but it may require you to start with a shorter drill bit and then step up to a larger size.
