For installing 5/8 KB-TZ2 wedge anchors, how much clearance do you need? In this scenario, they are being installed into underside of the (E) slab vertically. The bolts are installed through a hole in Flange of a WT member. My question is, how much clearance do you need from the face of the web of the WTx to the centerline of the bolt.

For installation parameters for the KB-TZ2 into concrete, including fixture hole diameter, please reference Table 1 on page 299 of Hilti’s Anchor Fastening Technical Guide. Edge distance and anchor spacing parameters can be found in Table 5.
In terms of distance from the centerline of the anchor to the web of the WT beam, this dimension would be at the discretion of the Engineer of Record based on the conditions of the application.
