How is the Spacing factor in tension applied?

Looking at Table 12 for "Load adjustment factors for Carbon Steel 5/8 - in diameter KB-TZ2 in uncracked concrete". If I'm reading the table right, it appears that at a 3 1/2 in ctr-ctr spacing, the factor decreases as the embedment increases. if the factor is applied directly against the capacity (table 3) then this results in a decreased capacity with increased embedment depth.

Can you clarify how the factor in Table 12 is applied?

Hi Wesley,

In general, as the embedment depth increases, the reduction to anchor performance decreases. This can be seen in Table 12 in Hilti's Anchor Fastening Product Technical Guide for the KB-TZ2 as the embedment depth increases, the load adjustment factor gets closer to 1.00 (no reduction in tension or shear).
