How does PROFIS calculate anchor reactions for eccentric loads?

I set up a model with (9) anchors aligned in a single row. The baseplate was 4" wide and the anchors were located in the center of the plate. I applied a vertical eccentric load of 6,941 lb that was at the edge of the plate, or 2" from the centerline of the anchors. The resulting tension applied to all anchors was 14,560 lb. What is the method that PROFIS uses to determine this value? Is there a sketch or other documentation that shows how these values are calculated for a general case?

eccentricity, use HILTI profis softvare, resultant tensile reactions

Hi Chad,

Please review the PROFIS Engineering Design Guide for eccentric calculation factors. This previous Ask Hilti response may also be a helpful reference.
