Hole Size in Fixture

In ESR-4868 for HIT-HY 200 adhesive, Figure 1 for threaded rod shows a hole of diameter df through the steel angle, but df is not shown in the table. Please confirm that df may be the same as d0, the hole diameter in the concrete, which is typically 1/8" larger than the anchor diameter for 5/8" and larger anchors (rather than the AISC standard hole diameter which is 1/16" larger than bolt diameter).

Hi Jim,

The diameter of the fixture hole for HIT-HY 200 V3 with a threaded rod can be found in Table 38 of Hilti's Anchor Fastening Product Technical Guide.

Regards,
Ashley

Ashley, To confirm, the df shown in Figure 1 of ESR-4868 is the same as the 'Diameter of Fixture Hole' indicated in table 38 of the anchor guide you referenced?

Hi Andrew,

"d_f" shown in Figure 1 for threaded rod in ESR-4868 refers to the fixture hole diameter values provided in Table 38 of the Anchor Fastening Technical Guide.

Matthew
