Hole roughening after using a rebar cutter
The use of the hole roughening tool typically required after drilling holes using a diamond coring bit.
If I am drilling holes to install adhesive anchors with a typical drill bit masonary and switch to a rebar cutter to cut through rebar e.g.(https://www.diablotools.com/products/DMAPLRC1060) would the finish in the hole require the use of the roughening tool?

Hi Jeremy,
Hole cleaning procedures will vary depending upon which adhesive anchor you are using. Hole cleaning procedures for a specific adhesive may be found within the Operating Instructions document of that adhesive anchor.
For more information on installing an adhesive anchor with the presence of rebar in the hole, please reach out to hnatechnicalservices@hilti.com.
Best,
