HLC Sleeve Anchor

HLC Sleeve Anchor

Hello,

I would like to specify the HLC sleeve anchors for anchoring a doubled LVL ledger to a CMU wall to support wood trusses. I am using the NDS to design for dowel connections in single shear so I was wondering, what is the yield strength and ultimate strength of the HLC sleeve anchors? I just see they are carbon steel, so I'd like to confirm these values.

Best,
Christian

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for your response. I am asking as the Fy and Fu values for the carbon steel of the anchors is not provided in the technical spec. What are these values, and what is the steel grade used?

Best,
Christian

Hello, following up on this, I have called in the past and not received a clear answer on what the steel grade is. Can anyone please provide the steel grade for the carbon steel HLC Sleeve Anchor?

Hi Christian, The values you are requesting on the HLC anchors are not published. If such values are required for design, please consider an anchor with an ICC-ES report in LRFD as those values will be published. Regards, Kevin
