Hitil RE 500 or HY 200 for HIT-Z-R anchor rod
Hi, I don't see HIT-Z rod on the RE 500 installation manual. Is HIT-Z not compatible with RE 500?
Also, I understand that with the design of HIT-Z rod, the drilled hole does not to be cleaned. If we clean the hole before installing the HIT-Z rod, does it affect the strength of the anchoring?

Hi Dennis,
The HIT-Z rod is only compatible with the HIT-HY 200 V3 adhesive anchoring system. Information on the HIT-HY 200 V3 can be found in Section 3.2.2 of Hilti's Anchor Fastening Product Technical Guide. Information on hole cleaning procedures can be found on page 38 of the same technical guide.
