I want to use the HIT HY-270 with a sleeve for a seismic application to hollow concrete masonry (units that are ungrouted) and wanted to use the Profis software but when I switch the loads to seismic, it tells me that there is no anchor that works for that application. I was reading through ESR-4143 and it states that these anchors can be used for seismic applications. Is it because this hasn't been incorporated into the Profis software yet? Hilti does not have testing for the use of HIT-HY 270 into hollow CMU in a seismic application. ESR-4143 mentions seismic applications for hollow CMU, however, these mentions are directly from AC58. The decision to use HIT-HY 270 into hollow CMU for a seismic application would be up to the discretion of the Engineer of Record.
