Hello, I noticed that in the Product Technical Guide (pg 57), the installation method of diamond core bit with roughening tool was shown to not be acceptable. However, in ESR-4868 (pg 25), diamond core bit with roughening tool is shown to be acceptable as long as the hole is not water filled. Also, Profis shows this to be acceptable under dry hole conditions.
Just to confirm, it is acceptable to use the HIT-HY 200 V3 adhesive with threaded rod with a diamond core drilled hole as long as the roughening tool is used and the hole isn't water filled?
I spoke over the phone with customer service, but I just wanted to confirm to show our contractor.

To confirm, yes, the installation method of using a diamond core bit with roughening tool is acceptable under dry and water saturated concrete conditions per ESR-4868 for Hilti's HIT-HY 200 V3 adhesive anchoring system.
