Hilti X-U anchor in hollow core plank
Can Hilti X-U fasteners be used in 5,000 psi precast hollow core plank with a minimum thickness of 1.375" at the cores? If so what would the shear capacity be of the anchor, spacing and edge distance requ?

Hi Jonathan,
Hilti does not have any testing for X-U fasteners installed into precast hollow core plank. The testing that is available for the X-U can be found in Section 3.2.5 of Hilti's Direct Fastening Product Technical Guide.
