Hilti Profis Analysis
In doing a anchorage calculation in Hilti Profis, I notice that an anchor design I have will pass checks using cracked concrete but will not pass checks using uncracked concrete. Upon examination of the detailed reports, it appears that different phi factors are used between the two sets of calculations. Can you provide an explanation for this?

Hi Ryan,
The modification factor for uncracked concrete can be found in ACI 318-14 in Section 17.4.3.6. Depending if the concrete is cracked or uncracked, the modification factor will change.
