Our project utilized hilti HY270 epoxy with an expiration date of march 2025 and the product was installed on 4/30/25. Would Hilti be able to provide a memo stating that this is structurally acceptable for the inspector and EOR?

All technical data for Hilti's adhesive anchoring systems is based on products still within their printed shelf life that have been properly stored per the Material Safety Datasheet. In general, the further past the expiration date of an adhesive, the more important storage history becomes and the more difficult it is to predict the behavior of the anchor. Therefore, it will ultimately be up to the engineering judgement of the Engineer of Record on the project to evaluate the performance of the expired adhesive and determine whether it meets the project's requirements.
