Hammer Drilling for Designing anchors with HIT-RE 500 V3 with large annular gap
Does the technical guide "Designing anchors with HIT-RE 500 V3 using core drilled holes with large annular gap" allow using hammer-drilling instead of core drilling to achieve the 1-7/8" hole diameter for 1-1/4 anchors?

Hi David,
The testing in the technical bulletin for HIT-RE 500 V3 with large annular gap is specifically related to core drilling. If you were to use a hammer drilled hole, that would up to the engineering judgement of the Engineer of Record for the project since it is outside the scope of the technical bulletin.
