I have an existing wood frame building to which we are adding a new kitchen hood. There is an existing 1-hr wood frame floor-ceiling (3/4" ply, I-joist, 2 layers 5/8 'X') that our grease duct -- Metal Fab 3G series -- is penetrating. Metal-fab's penetration kit is for a concrete floor. Is there a Hilti thru-penetration firestop assembly we can reference for this condition?
