Flushed RMC conduit stubbed up in rated room

Does RMC conduit stubbed up (Flush) in a rated room require firestop material inside the conduit?

Hello!
If the end of the rigid metallic conduit has been stubbed with solid metallic cap of the same material and size of the conduit, then no firestopping is required at the end of the conduit. If the cap is not metallic or such, we recommend to firestop the end of the sleeve.

Thank you,
