Flush nut minimum

During the installation of the hilti kbtz2 (1/2") wedge anchors. It was noted that the anchor must protrude past the nut a minimum of 1/4". I did not read that information anywhere in the esr 4266 with exception of images in the figures shown. Per AISC there is a flush nut minimum for high strength bolting in the RCSC. Would this apply to the KBTZ2 anchors as well? Please advise.
