Firestopping material and UL System for Block Wall cracks

We have 2hr fire barrier masonry walls and some concrete walls with random 1/8" linear cracks that vary from about 4 to 10 ft in length. We were asked by the surveyor to I quote "Install listed firestopping system to protect the penetration". Now in my opinion I can as well patch it with cement mix. Is there any specific UL System that addresses these type of "penetrations"?
What would you guys recommend? Thanks in advance!

Good afternoon Tomasz,

The cracks in the CMU and/or Concrete Walls would typically not fall under a penetration or joint per UL1479 or UL2079 respectively; but rather fall under a wall "patch" which would be addressed in the UL Design of the wall assembly as to how to address. The Authority Having Jurisdiction for the project would ultimately have the final say as to how to address the condition.

Thank you,
