I am trying to confirm the appropriate firestopping system for PVC pipe larger that 2". For a through-penetration condition, 2-hr rating, is there a UL system that uses only fire caulk? Or is a system with wrap strip or collar required?

Depending on your application specifics, you may be able to utilize a sealant only system for a pipe larger than 2". For example, I have attached CAJ2168, which allows for a 3" PVC pipe with FS-ONE MAX only. We have a couple of other systems, as well, so I would recommend looking through our Hilti Firestop Selector to see if any of these systems work for your application.
