Firestopping 600 KCMIL Metal-Clad Cable Through 3 Hour Slab

I am working on electrical distribution for a building that requires me to penetrate a 3hr concrete slab between the First and Second floor with (6) 4/C 600KCMIL cables and (2) 4/C 350KCMIL cables. Is there a multi-penetration system I could use to provide a 3 hour rating for the MC cables or a single penetration system for MC cable that would maintain the 3 hour rating of the slab?

Hi Hayden - we can go ahead and take care of this for you on an Engineering Judgment. We have a few systems that specify for 500 KCMIL cables like CAJ 3180 and CAJ 8207.

Hilti is proud to announce the launch of our engineering website, the HILTI CONSTRUCTION PLATFORM (HCP). This platform will be the home for all of your Fire Protection Engineering needs, including Engineering Judgment requests. You can find more information on how to access this new platform here: hilti.com/ej (US) or hilti.ca/ej (Canada.)
