I have a steel beam membrane penetration in a wood-framed, 2-hour rated wall. I came across detail WL7188b which seems to be what I need, except it specifies steel studs in the component description. Is this applicable to wood-framed walls as well, and if not, is there an equivalent detail available?

Unfortunately, we do not have a system for this. System WL7188 will be the closest match.
In order to get a detail showing wood framing we would need you to submit for an engineering judgment. The wood studs would also need to be minimum 2" x 4" wood studs.
