Is the Firestop Box Insert product only for use where two boxes on either side of the wall are adjacent to one another, or can it also be used to provide membrane protection for a electrical box. I have an already installed box. Accessing the box surface inside the wall cavity to apply Firestop Putty Pad would be difficult.
