Fireproofing of Steel Beam inside wood truss
I have steel beams that support wood floor trusses from the top chord, thereby enclosing the beam inside the wood truss floor/ceiling assembly. According to the code, structural members supporting 2 or more floors must be individually encased. The beam has (2) 2x members on top, so how do you apply fireproofing to the entire beam?
