Is my customer able to remove the "1" Gyp. Liner to cover installation gap" and the sheet of Drywall above the corridor ceiling?
They would then fire safe inside the stud cavity from the ceiling to the deck. Is this something they can do to keep the rating?

Because the rating of the actual wall or floor assembly is determined by the design professional or project specifications, we typically rely on the information provided to us when an engineering judgment request is submitted.
