140 Unit Multifamily building currently under construction. (1 HR) Corridor walls terminate at exterior walkways. Wall assembly includes 5/8" Gypsum Board (one side), Wood staggered Stud 2x6 Wall Framing with plywood sheathing and 7/8" plaster finish. How can the plaster terminate at the podium slab or upper framed walkways without meeting the floor to avoid water intrusion while maintaining the rating? Is there a sealant product or proprietary base that can be provided by Hilti to maintain rating.

We do not have anything that matches this exact application as Hilti does not currently have any systems in our library for plaster applications, so I would recommend submitting for an Engineering Judgment, which will be a custom detail showing your exact application with the firestop components required to maintain the stated ratings.
