Hello, I'm looking for a head detail for a 3 hrs rated 8'' CMU wall. CMU stops just below a metal beam. I found a typical UL detail but it's a 2hs fire rated assembly - is it possible to have the same thing (or similar) for a 3 hrs fire rated assembly ?
