File types and PS 300 integration

Our project team has a PS 300 unit on site and they are a bit confused as to how to effectively use it. They were able to download and send to me several files, both in .JPR and .FSCAN formats. I was able to open the JPR file in word docs and I see that this contains the project information. I thought perhaps that if I tried using PROFIS that I might be able import these files, particularly, the FSCAN file as I believe that these files contain the actual data from the PS 300. This is where I hit a road block. I installed the 30 day trial of PROFIS but I don't know much about this platform. I can't see where there is an option to import a JPR file or an FSCAN file.

Is there a way that you might be able to point me in the right direction so that I can guide my team to a solution and they can actually see what kind of data they are collecting with their PS 300 device?
