Hello, wanted to understand if there is a product that could "seal" the fastening / anchor penetrations into a 2 hour wall? I am uploading a screen shot detail of the condition. The way the anchor works is similar to any typical anchor that relies on the sheetrock to get embedded, grop then a screw is set that expands the end of the anchor. The inspector asked if we have a prodict that can "seal" the penetration. thanks for any guidance, Al

In my experience, firestop around anchors or screws and other types of fasteners is not required as long as the fasteners does not jeopardize the fire-rating of the wall. First I would confirm that with the manufacturer. If the authority having jurisdiction still wants to see the penetration caused by the fastener to be firestopped, there is no listed firestop system for this application but we can address this with an engineering judgement.
