Expansion Anchors
If a TZ expansion anchor is installed and torqued to the tabulated value from Table 1 or Table 14, does that mean the anchor is installed properly or would pull testing still need to be required?

Hi John,
To ensure an expansion anchor is properly installed, the anchor's instructions for use (including torqueing requirements) must be properly followed.
The manufacturer does not specify or require on-site evaluation. On-site evaluation is typically specified by the engineer on the project, by job specific requirements, or by requirements of the authority having jurisdiction.
