Epoxy Anchor Into Precast Sandwich Panel
Can the epoxy used to for threaded rod anchors cause insulation in a precast panel to start on fire? Or melt?

Hi Chris,
It is essential to note that during installation, Hilti adhesive products generate significant heat, which could potentially cause the insulation to melt or potentially cause a fire. Another factor to consider is the possibility of the adhesive to seep into voids of the layer of insulation. For further questions, please reach out to deck@hilti.com.
