Effective Embedment Depth Values
What is the distinction in the two values provided for effective embedment depth: h ef,opti and h ef,limit?

Hi Eric,
If you are referring the a PROFIS Engineering (PE) design report, the optimized embedment depth (hef, opti) and the embedment depth limit (hef, limit) are provided when the user selects the optimized embedment depth option in PE. See snippet below:
The optimized embedment depth (hef, opti) refers to the embedment depth PROFIS Engineering selects allowing the highest utilization of the anchors providing the most economical design. The embedment depth limit (hef, limit), or maximum embedment depth, is a limitation from ACI 318-14 Chapter 17, which limits the embedment depth of an adhesive anchor to 20*d.
