Have an anchor analysis using embedded headed anchors. For some reason the program is applying all the load to the row of anchors closest to the edge. Since all anchors are rigidly connected by the plate, the load should be applied to the anchor row farthest from the edge.
Hi Hap,
Please reference ACI 318-14 R17.5.2.1 for more information on concrete breakout in shear. Case 2 is normally considered when anchors are welded to a common plate. However, depending on the layout of your anchors, PROFIS Engineering will assume the leading, or front row of anchors, near the concrete edge will take the full shear load acting on the anchor system as a conservative approach. Please see the snip from ACI 318-14 which mentions the ratio of s/ca1. Since your design only has a 2" edge distance, the ratio is greater than 1 and the software checks the near edge anchors. If you would like to analyze your design a different way, you may perform a hand calculation.
Regards,
Dani
