Can I use CP 678 Coating for galvanized duct?, as usually used for the cable tray ladder.

According to the Product Data Sheet (attached), the CP 678 Firestop Cable Coating should not be used for ducts. It should only be used for the protection of cables and bunched cables on cable trays in indoor installations, or protecting against the spread of flame on timber panels.
