During the injection of epoxy, a piston/plug fell into the hole, resulting in epoxy filling the space above it and a void below. Is it possible to drill through the cured epoxy (HIT 200A) to remove the piston/plug and then refill the hole with HIT 200A to properly abandon it? Given that the epoxy has a compressive strength of about 15 ksi, are there any concerns with drilling? Could you recommend a method to repair and abandon this hole effectively?
