I have a 3/4" diameter HAS-V-36 rod using HIT-HY 200 V3 with a 6" minimum embedment. What is the recommend drill bit diameter and depth of hole? Is there a range of drill bit diameters or hole depths that can be used?

For a ¾“ HAS-V-36 threaded rod with the HIT-HY 200 V3 adhesive into concrete, a 7/8“ drill bit diameter is required per Table 38 below on page 57 of the Anchor Product Technical Guide. For an adhesive anchor, the hole depth is the same as the embedment depth per the Instructions for Use document. Table 38 below also contains a range of effective embedments for the ¾“ threaded rod that are within Hilti’s scope of testing. Please note the embedment depth value must be specified by the Engineer of Record (EOR) on the project.
