Does hilti equipment have the capability to drill a 28" deep hole? I have a condition where I need to epoxy a threaded rod 12" into the top of a foundation however there is a 16" slab on top of the foundations (16" 12" = 28")

Hilt drill bits are able to drill to various embedment depths. Please contact Hilti Customer Service at 1-800-879-8000. for available hammer drill bit lengths. Please note, Hilti anchor testing is conducted in monolithic slabs only. Thus, Hilti does not have test data available for anchors installed in more than one layer of concrete. Engineering judgment could be considered if the housekeeping pad and supporting slab are sufficiently connected to act as one element.
