What is the difference between UL U419 and U465 for 1-Hr walls. and which do you recommend? Do you have one that is comparable or better?
Greetings! Thank you for checking out ASK Hilti. The biggest difference that I can see after review is the UL U419 allows for some optional configurations of gypsum board on each side of the stud framing as well as having the ability to be built up to achieve a 4hr F-rating. Therefore, I would recommend the UL U419 design based off this criteria; however, both wall can be built to achieve a 1hr F-rating so the choice is yours.
