Custom plate properties for aluminum base plate
We are looking to subscribe to the Profis premium to analyze an aluminum base plate with the CBFEM calculation. A quick browse through other questions indicates there is a custom material option but none of them show what mechanical properties can be customized. What mechanical properties would we have control over?

Hi Cassidy,
In the Base Plate tab within a design in PROFIS Engineering, you are able to select a different material for the base plate. There is also the option to input a custom steel material. Please see the attached snippet from PROFIS Engineering.
