CS Kwik Bolt TZ2 Lightweight Factor in Product Tables 34 and 35

Question

I'm working on a project where I need to use CS KB-TZ2 anchors in a normal weight concrete slab on metal deck. In the product data, I see design tables 34 and 35 provided for lightweight concrete on metal deck, but no adjustment factor is provided for normal weight concrete.

So far, I've just been using the more conservative lightweight values for my capacities, but I've run into a couple of anchors that are failing with this method and need capacities that reflect those of normal weight concrete. Is it possible to divide the provided lightweight values in these tables by the anchor lightweight factor,  = 0.6 (for all-lightweight concrete) to obtain normal weight concrete capacities?

Hi Perry,

There is no testing for installing Kwik Bolt TZ2s into normal weight concrete over metal deck; we only have testing into lightweight concrete. There are no reduction or load adjustment factors that can be applied to the light weight concrete values since the values come from testing.
