Hi, I have an ongoing project of installation of steel plate to the machine base. I need to know the critical edge distance of the anchor bolt to the edge of concrete, because we are going to pour concrete from the steel plate to make grouting underneath.
You can see the attached picture. There will be concrete underneath the steel plate and we are going to install bolt from the hole at the side.

The critical edge distance depends on what anchor you are using, and will sometimes require calculations to determine based on other factors such as anchor spacing (if applicable).
