Is there a difference between "Create a Company Project" VS "New Project" tabs on my Hilti Profis profile?
I have been noticing a lot of my internal company projects created out of another office (I can tell from the project codes) and I believe that creating a "Company Project" leads to this.
I have the following questions:
- Can this be avoided somehow because if I find it rogue and delete it, I am mistakenly deleting some other engineer's work on it.
- Is it possible to create a group of employees on a project, so we can share and access each other's files easily?
- Is there some documentation guideline for managing project calculations on Profis online?
Hi Parth,
A company project is shared through the cloud with everyone on the PROFIS Engineering license automatically. It would thus pop up on the home page of everyone using the PROFIS license. This feature is only available to premium licenses.
A new project is similar to just a folder on your computer, it would only be shown on the PROFIS Engineering home menu of the person who created the folder. However, a project could be shared with other PE users through the cloud, but it would have to be shared manually, and people with whom it is shared could be removed from accessing the folder. This project sharing would only be available to premium licenses.
