Connect wood truss to steel beam
I would like to connect wood truss bottom chords to a new steel beam. Alternately, connect a 2x6 top plate horizontally to the top of a W10x22.

Technical information for fastening wood to steel can be found in Section 3.2.2.4 of Hilti's Direct Fastening Product Technical Guide. Additional information on various powder actuated fasteners can be found in Section 3.2.5 and for our self-drilling screws can be found in Section 3.6.
