Concrete Breakout Resistance of Tension Anchors CSA A23

Concrete Breakout Resistance of Tension Anchors CSA A23

The coefficient Kc for cast-in place and post-installed anchors in CSA A23.3 Appendix D is different from those proposed by ACI 318 Section 17. This is due to the unit differences of the two standards. However, in the calculations that PROFIS reports, it seems that the same values of Kc (the ACI ones) are used in the calculations for both standards. This leads to over-estimation of the concrete breakout resistance per CSA A23.3 for the same anchor and problem geometry. Could you please take a look and address the issue? I have attached the calculations from both standards. You can refer to Section 3.2 for the concrete breakout failure.
