Combination Ratio
A couple of times in the design the combination utilization percent is lower than the individual tension or shear utilization percent. Is there a increase in combination ratio? if yes, how much? Is there

Hi Ruchin,
The combination utilization is calculated using either the tri-linear equation or the parabolic equation. To see the equations and how tension and shear interact, see page 347 of the PROFIS Engineering Design Guide.
